Mogren, Lintu and Sygurd

my D&D trio...all three are elves but different types. as you know if you saw the last dev of just Lintu, she's a snow elf.
Sygurd is a forest elf and Mogren is a sand elf (he comes from a desert).
Lintu (for those of you who haven't seen the drawing i did of just her) is a snow elf from the far north (like Siberia or summing) She's a pretty fucked up kid ya know? When she was born, her tribe noticed two wierd things about her. 1) she had dark hair (which is pretty rare for snow elves) and 2) not only was her hair dark, but it was also red (snow elves never have red hair naturally) and so her tribe decided that she musta been some type of bad omen and so they pretty much sent her to live with this fugly old lady even farther north than snow elves usually go and since the fugly old lady died only like 50 years later she was pretty much left to fend for herself. (50 years to an elf is practically nothing. I mean Lintu herself is like 1400 years old) Lintu was born with an unusually advanced blood power (like the Naruto bloodlines...can you spot the blatent Naruto rip-off? <_<>_> : P) Most snow elves have a blood power but usually its elemental alignments with snow, water, ice, air, or fire. (don't ask how snow elves got fire powers cos i'm pretty much bs-ing at this point.) Lintu had an unusual affiliation with death and from early childhood had the ability to "smudge" the borders of life and death.

Sygurd is a swordsmaster and has sworn to protect Lintu on her journeys. (she just sort of wanders around with no real purpose in life...told ya she was a messed up elf.) He also kind of likes her because she basically saved him from death (she is a necromancer so its not like she did anything really speciall...ok so maybe she did...) He was a royal guard for the high king of the wood elves but the king was murdered by his ruthless half-brother who then usurped the throne and proceeded to execute the old kings greatest supporters who, wouldn't you know it, happen to be Sygurd and the royal guards. Sygurd was publically executed (shot full of arrows by a "firing squad" if you must know) but his execution happened to be witnessed by Lintu who discovered that this new king and his men weren't exactly the smartest of people so his body was pretty much dumped outside the kingdom's borders where Lintu proceeded to bring him back to life and nursed him back to health in secret.

And lastly of these new people is Mogren . Lintu accidentally brought him back to life...he's actually quite useless but he has had his moments of "non-uselessness". Librarian and book mage, he's invented a spell that allows him to carry an entire library with him at all times that takes up no space. (he's got one little book thing that has all the books listed in it so he can up the books when he needs to...) He's not too keen on Sygurd (cos he's kinda jealous) but he really likes Lintu and usually tries to do things for her that end up backfiring and/or getting in the way.
Mogren was a mage in the hidden desert city of Paleos. He accidentally witnessed some thugs murder someone and they didn't want to risk him telling anyone so they searched for him to 'eliminate" him. He hid out in the old royal library which was considered at the time one of the more unfashionable places in the city because it was a library dedicated to the Old Ways and the Old Ways had long since been deemed "uncool". So basically he hides out here and becomes fascinated by the old books and scrolls and learnes about all sorts of forgotten spells and stuff. Well, the thugs finally figure out where he is and they come and burn down the library. (*pyro sense tingling* ....fiiiiirrrreeee..) Mogren was killed by the fire because he spent his last moments casting a spell to conserve the library. (this is that spell he created that lets him carry the library around with him) A century later, Lintu and Sygurd wander through the ruins of the now destroyed city of Paleos and come across the old library's remains. Inside they find an ancient gold medallion of Mogren's and figure that only a really powerfull mage or actually anyone extremely powerfull could have owned such a thing and so Lintu (like a retard) decides to bring the medallion's owner back to life. At the time Lintu and Sygurd had been travelling with this guy Sameth (who was kind of a dork) who died from an arrow wound in the library. (they took refuge in the ruined library cos of Sameth's wounds) Well when Lintu called Mogren's soul it settled in Sameth's body (cos a soul cannot exist in the mortal world without a body) and Mogren lived again. (The guy you see in this pic is Mogren in Sameth's body. Someday I'll do one of Mogren of what he looked like before he died.)

Note: Mogren's name will change when i think of a better one... I don't feel like it fits him...If anyone can think of a better name then i'm open for suggestions...but something bookish please...
Edit forgot to say that I changed Lintu's outfit a bit cos as pointed out she didn't look like she was from the North...now she looks kinda german tho... o_O...anyway...fullview to see the damn thing i hate previews as much as you guys do so i promis on hte next one i won't put a preview) Sorry for the uber-long description...
